My youngest daughter, Maisy, was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 9 after experiencing absence seizures. She was healthy, outgoing and full of beans, but her diagnosis has had an impact on her life. Maisy has become fearful and incredibly anxious affecting her mental and physical health, but her symptoms have been eased with medication which has been a huge help.
Anyone who knows me knows I am not a runner, in fact I don’t like exercise!! So this is a huge challenge but incredibly worthwhile.
