Nestled in the picturesque countryside of North Yorkshire, the charming villages of Brafferton and Helperby offer a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Located just a few miles from Boroughbridge, these neighbouring villages are steeped in history, surrounded by nature, and filled with a warm sense of community.
The village is situated amid the beautiful green fields of North Yorkshire, between the Moors and the Dales, along the river Swale. There is a lot of history here and the first settlement dates back to the Vikings.
The people here are friendly and there is a definite sense of community spirit, we have a good primary school, a pub, a lovely church, a well-used village hall and sports association. It is an excellent place to pursue all kinds of outdoor activities.
Easingwold and Boroughbridge are close by providing an excellent array of shops and amenities. There are good network links to the A1, and Railway station at York and Thirsk with regular services to King Cross.
Brafferton and Helperby offers the best of both worlds.
